X COLLECTOR // TRUST & SAFETY

Empty accounts, staking positions, and confidence.

X COLLECTOR helps reclaim rent locked in unused token accounts. This page clarifies what “empty” means — and what it does not guarantee.

Empty can mean closeable

Some token accounts hold no balance and may be candidates for closure, allowing locked rent to return to the wallet owner. That technical state is useful — but it is only one signal.

Empty is not proof of no external position

An empty token account does not prove there is no staking, vault, escrow, or other external position elsewhere. Related value can live outside the account you are inspecting. Treating emptiness as universal safety would be unsafe.

How X COLLECTOR communicates confidence

X COLLECTOR uses cautious confidence levels. The system separates on-chain signals, uncertain cases and decisions that require explicit user confirmation. This keeps wallet hygiene transparent without pretending to universally detect every external staking or vault position.

Non-custodial by design

  • No private keys collected.
  • No custody of funds.
  • No seed phrases requested or stored.
  • The user remains the signing authority.
  • Wallet approval is required for every transaction.

Related pain point

Wallet hygiene is the broader pain point: reclaim rent locked in unused accounts without inventing certainty the chain does not provide.
